The Major Craft Troutino is the perfect tool for anglers fishing light tackle on small streams or ponds looking to get maximum enjoyment out of the fish they catch, no matter the size!

The light,fast action blank is constructed from high quality Toray carbon and is perfect for casting small lures, such as spinners, trout area spoons and ultra-light crankbaits, with pin-point accuracy while still providing superior sensitivity, to detect even the subtlest of takes.

An olive finish on the blank is complimented perfectly by gold and silver whippings. The Troutino's light action will load up up easily with lightweight lures and will take on a nice fighting curve when a fish is hooked, helping to prevent hook pulls with small hooks and protect light leaders against sudden shocks and head shakes.

These rods are fitted with top quality Fuji K series single foot guides which helps preserve the natural action of the rod with no flat spots and allows the line to flow freely off the reel with minimum resistance.

The butt guide is a larger, stand off guide which helps prevent tangles and line wraps when fishing with fixed spool reels. The handle and reel seat compliment the rod's stunning looks perfectly and the shorter handle length allows anglers to easily cast underhand or single handed and land lures accurately in likely looking spots or under overhanging vegetation.

A quality cork handle provides extra comfort and enjoyment when on the bank and the high grade cork used makes for a long lasting finish. A wooden spacer around the reel seat adds to the quality looks and feel of the rod and, in conjunction with the up-locking reel seat, will hold your chosen reel securely in place.

Each rod is supplied in a classy dark olive cloth rod bag to protect the rod during storage and transport.
